Connect a Facebook Page, the permissions requested, choosing the right Page and what you can publish.
Prerequisites
- A Facebook Page you're an admin of. Klickbee publishes to Pages: Facebook's API doesn't allow publishing to a personal profile.
- Your personal Facebook account is only used to identify you and give access to the Page.
Connect the Page
- Réglages › Canaux (Settings › Channels) › Ajouter un canal (Add a channel) › Facebook.
- Sign in to Facebook. In the Facebook window, check the Page to connect and accept the permissions.
- Back in Klickbee: Compte connecté (Account connected). The card shows the Page name.
One Page per connection
Klickbee connects a single Page per connection: the first Page granted. To be sure you connect the right one, check only that Page in the Facebook window. To connect another one, start again and check only the new Page.
If no Page is checked, the connection fails: « Aucune Page Facebook accordée — choisis une Page lors de la connexion. » (No Facebook Page granted — choose a Page when connecting.)
Permissions requested
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
pages_show_list | List the Pages you manage. |
pages_read_engagement | Read the Page's information. |
pages_manage_posts | Publish to the Page. |
read_insights | Fetch stats. |
pages_manage_engagement | Publish the first comment as the Page, manage comments (if requested). |
pages_messaging, pages_manage_metadata, pages_read_user_content | Messenger messages and comments in the Inbox (if requested). |
Permissions marked "if requested" are only requested when the related features are active; you'll then need to reconnect the Page.
What you can publish
- Text (up to 63,206 characters), with a shared link shown as a preview.
- Up to 10 images or videos (MP4, MOV).
- Posts, Reels and stories. A video is published as a Reel by default.
- A first comment published by the Page.
See Settings per network. A published Facebook post can be deleted from the Page from Klickbee.
