YouTube

Connect a YouTube channel with your Google account, the permissions requested, and publish videos and Shorts.

Prerequisites

A Google account that owns a YouTube channel. If the account has no channel, the connection fails: « YouTube : aucune chaîne sur ce compte » (YouTube: no channel on this account).

Connect the channel

  1. Réglages › Canaux (Settings › Channels) › Ajouter un canal (Add a channel) › YouTube.
  2. Choose the Google account (or Brand Account) that owns the channel and accept the permissions.
  3. Back in Klickbee: Compte connecté (Account connected). The card shows the channel name.

Permissions requested

PermissionWhy
youtube.uploadUpload and publish your videos.
youtube.readonlyRead channel information and comments (Inbox).
yt-analytics.readonlyFetch stats (views, watch time, retention).
youtube.force-sslReply to and moderate comments, publish the first comment, delete a video from YouTube (if requested).

youtube.force-ssl is only requested when these features are active. A channel connected without this permission can publish and read its comments, but can't reply to them from Klickbee; you'll need to reconnect it to grant the permission.

What you can publish

Videos and Shorts, through the Video mode, with:

  • a Titre (Title, 100 characters max) and a description (5,000 characters);
  • Visibilité (Visibility) (Publique (Public) by default, Non répertoriée (Unlisted), Privée (Private));
  • a Catégorie (Category), Tags, Conçue pour les enfants (Made for kids) and Notifier les abonnés (Notify subscribers);
  • a first comment, published if the video is public and the channel has granted the permission to manage comments.

See Settings per network.

Stats and Inbox

  • Stats: subscribers, total views, videos, 28-day watch time, average view duration, retention. See Analytics.
  • Inbox: the channel's comments are fetched once a day. See Inbox.

If you remove Klickbee's access in your Google account, the stats and comments stored for the channel are deleted, and the card switches to Expiré · Reconnecter (Expired · Reconnect).
