Schedule and publish
Schedule for a date, publish now, choose the time zone, understand what happens at the scheduled time, missed slots, retries and deleting a post from the network.
Schedule for a date
In the composer's bottom bar, choose the date and time, then click Planifier (Schedule) (« Publications planifiées » — posts scheduled). All the content's posts go out at that time. The button becomes Mettre à jour (Update) when the content is already scheduled.
The Planifier button's menu also offers:
- Ajouter à la file (Add to queue): each post takes its account's next free slot. See Queue and slots.
- Publier maintenant (Publish now): see below.
- Horaires par réseau… (Times per network…): a dialog to schedule, queue or publish network by network, with a different time per account. Untick Même date et heure pour tous les réseaux (Same date and time for all networks) to set each account separately.
Before you confirm, the composer warns you if another post on the same network is already scheduled that day (« risque de doublon » — risk of duplicate), and if a network has no account selected (it « restera en brouillon » — will stay as a draft).
The date must be in the future: otherwise, « Choisis une date et une heure futures. » (Choose a future date and time.)
Time zone
The Fuseau horaire (Time zone) selector in the bottom bar sets which time zone the chosen time is in. It defaults to your computer's time zone; change it if you're scheduling for an audience located elsewhere.
Queue slots, recurring posts and the suggested slot use the brand's time zone (Europe/Paris by default).
Publish now
Publier maintenant (Publish now) sends the post immediately, after confirmation (« Le post part immédiatement sur … Cette action ne peut pas être annulée. » — the post goes out immediately on … This action can't be undone.). A scheduled, ready or failed post can be published now.
For YouTube, Publier maintenant publishes the video right away with the chosen visibility (public by default), not at the date that was scheduled.
The message « Publication lancée » (Publishing started) confirms it was sent. Then check the post's status: if it switches to Échec (Failed), the error is shown in the composer.
At the scheduled time
At the scheduled time, Klickbee sends the post to the network. The post switches to Publication… (Publishing…), then to Publié (Published; with a Voir le post (View post) link) or Échec (Failed).
If your workspace has switched to read-only (end of trial, subscription cancelled or unpaid), you can no longer schedule or publish. Posts scheduled before the switch are still published.
Missed slot: never published late
If a post couldn't go out within 30 minutes of its scheduled time (for example because of a technical incident), it is never published late: a timely post published hours later would do more harm than good. It switches to Échec (Failed) with the message:
Créneau manqué : le post n'a pas pu partir à l'heure prévue et n'a pas été publié en retard. Replanifie-le ou publie-le maintenant si besoin.
(Missed slot: the post couldn't go out at the scheduled time and wasn't published late. Reschedule it or publish it now if needed.)
Reschedule it or use Publier maintenant (Publish now).
Automatic retries
When the failure comes from a temporary problem (network briefly unavailable, too many requests, media not ready yet…), Klickbee automatically retries up to 3 times, after 5, 15 and then 45 minutes. Meanwhile, the post stays Planifié (Scheduled).
Errors that can't fix themselves (account to reconnect, media rejected, missing permission…) aren't retried: the post goes straight to Échec (Failed).
You're only notified once the final result is known. See Notifications.
Retry manually
On a Échec (Failed) post, the composer shows « Échec de la publication : » (Publishing failed:) followed by the error, and a Réessayer (Retry) button (Réessayer les échecs (Retry failed) if several of the content's posts failed). In the Planning, use Réessayer la publication (Retry publishing). Only failed posts are sent again, immediately; those already published aren't touched.
Fix the cause first (see Publishing failures), otherwise « La publication a encore échoué » (Publishing failed again).
Edit a scheduled or published post
- Planifié (Scheduled): open it, edit, then Mettre à jour (Update). You can also move it or Déprogrammer (Unschedule) it from the Planning.
- Publié (Published): editing the text in Klickbee does not edit the post on the network. Publishing settings can no longer be edited.
Delete a post from the network
On a Publié (Published) post, the Supprimer de (Delete from) button followed by the network's name removes the post from the network (likes, comments and shares included). This can't be undone. The post stays in Klickbee with the status Supprimé du réseau (Deleted from network).
| Network | Deletion from Klickbee |
|---|---|
| Yes | |
| Yes | |
| YouTube | Only if the account has granted permission to manage the channel (« youtube.force-ssl »); otherwise, delete the video in YouTube Studio. |
| Threads | No: Klickbee doesn't request the required permission. Delete the post in the Threads app. |
| No: the API doesn't allow it. Delete the post in the Instagram app. | |
| TikTok | No: the API doesn't allow it. Delete the video in the TikTok app. |
When deletion isn't possible, the button is replaced by a note explaining why. Deleting a content item in Klickbee (Supprimer (Delete) button) doesn't remove anything from the network.
